Final Status: The deployment of the fix has completed, and we've confirmed through internal testing that new Microsoft Teams meetings are now displaying in the expected language. Any affected meeting created during the impact timeframe of Friday, December 13, 2024, at 12:00 AM UTC to Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 7:13 PM UTC will need to be recreated. Scope of Impact: This issue affected users who's default language is set to a non-English selection and was expecting scheduled Microsoft Teams meetings to be in their default language. Start Time: Friday, December 13, 2024, at 12:00 AM UTC End Time: Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 7:13 PM UTC Root Cause: A recent update, that migrated the Microsoft Teams Scheduler service to a new underlying platform operating system, unexpectedly caused the localization setup configuration to incorrectly default to English. We're continuing to analyze this change to gain a deeper understanding on how this issue occurred, and we'll provide more information by Friday, January 10, 2025.
